The Philadelphia Fire Department Foundation was originally established in 1952 as the Citizens Committee for Fire Prevention and became the official nonprofit partner of the Philadelphia Fire Department (PFD) in 2016. Our mission is to promote fire and life safety education while supporting our firefighters through enhancements that bring comfort and a sense of home to the firehouse.
